Piano Summer Camp

This is an introductory music camp for children no previous musical experience or intermediate level of playing piano. Children will discover the language of music through piano as well as exposure to the social aspect of camp. This will in turn connect children with new friends that have similar musical interests. Working together in class will help them to develop a stronger relationship with their musical abilities.

Violin Summer Camp

This program introduces young string players to the fun of ensemble playing the violin, viola, or cello in a group while also participating in all other camp activities. For higher level students learn music appreciation, movement and ensemble skills with this string ensemble program covering a variety of pieces at different levels of difficulty.

Dance Summer Camp

Pre Ballet Dance classes are designed for ages 3 to 6 as an introduction to movement. Hip Hop classes are targeted towards 7-11 year old beginner or experienced dancers. Jazz classes are targeted towards 12-16 year old dancers. Classes will include jazz technique development as well as jazz choreography.

Woodwinds Summer Camp

If you are starting band at school in September, this is a great opportunity to get a jump start. Or maybe you’d like to try a new instrument? Choose recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, or trombone. We emphasize on proper playing posture, tone production, learning new notes and playing pieces together as an ensemble.

Drums Summer Camp

This is your chance to learn and play your favorite tune on the drum set and other Latin percussion. For experienced performers you will master your technique and for the beginner classes, you will learn to keep a steady beats while playing in the band. Classes will be divided based on age group and levels of the campers per week.

Art Summer Camp

While experimenting with an exciting variety of the artist's tools, media and techniques, students will learn to explore and trust their imaginations and creative instincts. Working from still life, photographs and images from art history, Campers will be introduced to drawing and painting fundamentals and techniques.

Voice/Musical Theater Summer Camp

In this class campers will focus on musical enjoyment through singing, speech and acting. The campers will have the opportunity to engage in solos and small ensemble singing as well as role playing. The program incorporates movement, props and choreography based on the campers age and level.

Orff Summer Camp

Cherry Blossom Orff &Kodaly classes are designed to develop the basic skills of music for younger campers under the age of 6 who never had any music experience before. It is an exciting musical adventure including singing, rhythm instruments and dance. Campers will play on xylophones, recorders, and percussion instruments. This class is mandatory for all campers under the age of 6.

Film Summer Camp

In this class camper experience a unique feeling of becoming the director’s by creating their own film. You and your crew use HD cameras and the latest digital equipment to do what real movie professionals do: create storyboards, write a script, and determine camera angles and cinematography. By editing and adding sound track to your master piece soon you will be on your way to Hollywood.
